Mind Matters - Thrive Together

A weekly youth program facilitated by peers at a middle and high school to offer a secure and enjoyable setting for social interaction for those students. Through engaging mental health activities, it strives to boost understanding of mental health prevention and early intervention, effectively addressing mental health-related challenges that can lead to academic struggles or drop out.

Activities include:
  • Stress relief/self-care strategies
  • Socialization
  • Support resources
  • Meditation
  • Learning activities
  • Social skills training
  • Journaling
  • Resilence training

Will C. Wood Middle School (Day of the week is TBD)
Hiram W. Johnson High School (Wednesdays during lunch)
